To invest your WoW Classic gold or to buy some WoW Classic gold the easy route? Well, we can’t answer it for you, but here’s some help on the way.

World of Warcraft Classic has been a real trip through time, bringing back all the memories from the first time you played the original game. The game came out with no expansions and emulated the gameplay and experience of the original game giving fans a chance to re-live the good old times. It’s been around 2 years since its release and the game is finally getting its long-awaited recreation of the first expansion for the original game, Burning Crusade Classic. Even though it wasn’t the favorite of most players, this recreation of TBC promises players the original experience where they get to step into the Dark Portal for the first time to revisit a lost era of Azeroth and fight iconic World of Warcraft villains like Kael’Thas and Illidan.

TBC Classic is set to be released on June 1st, 2021 but the game gets a pre-expansion patch on May 18th that allows players to either dive into the Burning Crusade or keep enjoying the Classic experience on a set of servers that will stay locked in vanilla-era WoW where the level cap is still 60.

How Should You Prepare for TBC Classic?

Similar to when the expansion was first released back in 2007 and how it received the live updates in phases, TBC Classic will also be working similarly. Apart from that, TBC Classic also comes with a few changes to try and improve the experience and cater towards a more modern audience. Some changes include stronger raid bosses, Alliance paladins getting access to Seal of Blood, and changes to matchmaking. Even though this new expansion is set to hit the game officially on June 1, you can get ready for it starting May 18 with its pre-expansion patch. So if you are planning on taking on the adventure going in the path of TBC Classic, there are a few things you can do to make things easier and convenient when the expansion actually launches.

Investing Your Gold

Gold inflation is a common occurrence when new expansions get released to WoW. Everything will become more expensive when an expansion hits the game or even get close to a release and Burning Crusade Classic is no exception. So investing your hard-earned gold before TBC Classic officially launches can really benefit you by giving you a head start economically. It is also important to decide on what items you should invest your gold in but you can also still sell things at the normal prices if things don’t go according to the plan.

Every item that heads over to TBC Classic from the original game is expected to see a rise in its price. So investing in any of them could potentially make things easier and even bring you massive profits. However, the best items you could invest in are the ones that are also used in new content that come with the expansion. Leveling up Professions is most likely to be the meta to earn massive profits as the new expansion expects to bring new professions and enhancements for the already existing ones. Out of the bunch, Jewelcrafting is expected to be one of the most profitable ones while Leatherworking and Alchemy are also some of the frequently used professions. Therefore, investing your gold in Jewelcrafting materials like Mithril Ore, Thorium Ore, and most Gems could come really handy when TBC Classic hits. Apart from that, you can also invest in items required for levelling up the other two professions mentioned earlier such as leather and herbs.

If you need extra gold for your investments, consider buying some WoW Classic gold before the expansion hits!

Following is a list of items you could invest in and why they are recommended.

  • Mithril: Mithril is a heavily used item in leveling up Jewelcrafting and it is also rarer compared to other items used in Jewelcrafting.
Gems such as Citrine, Aquamarine, and Star Ruby: These precious stones are also used in Jewelcrafting and could generate massive profits.
  • Rugged Leather: Getting Leatherworking to 300 could be annoying if you don’t enough rugged leather.
  • Golden Sansam: This herb particularly does not have much use at the moment but it will be used in some of the first potions TBC Classic Alchemists can make.
  • Free Action Potions, Invisibility Potions, and their relevant materials: Use of these potions will be as frequent as it is in WoW Classic but these materials will get rarer making their prices go up.

While the investing part is quite easy, predicting the prices can be the trickiest part as TBC Classic plans to bring some major changes to the original game. So researching for prices could be tricky and inaccurate but fortunately, there are some sites dedicated to bringing you data from private servers. These sites are known as Auction Houses and you can find data of previous TBC Private Servers. However, you must not solely rely on these data as things could change with TBC Classic but they are a great place to get familiar with the inflation and what items could profit more.
Decide on a Class to Main

TBC Classic expects to bring some major updates to classes so deciding on one to stick to is really important for a hassle-free TBC Classic experience.

The expected changes range from new spells to possible talent reworks. Apart from that 2 new races will be joining both factions: Draenei join the Alliance and Blood Elves join the Hordes. And one major change in the upcoming expansion is that each race will bring the opposite faction’s unique class to their own. Draenei will be Shamans for the Alliance while Blood Elves will be Paladins for the Horde. These changes add some drastic changes to compositions of raids and the entire gameplay experience itself. So take your time to try out the best class that fits you before the expansion officially launches this upcoming June.
Don’t make the meta stop you from playing the class you love the most but the following are some pointers to get an understanding of which classes are looking stronger in TBC Classic.

  • Tanking: The best classes for tanking in TBC are Druids, Paladins, and Warriors. However, they have their own strengths and weaknesses so make sure you choose one according to your preferred play style.
  • DPS and PVP: Melee DPS classes are going to be similarly weak against AoE damage sources so you should instead go with either Mages, Warlocks. Shadow Priests, Elemental Shamans, or Hunters.
  • Healing: Healing is also one important role in the game and Resto Druids and Holy Priests are looking the strongest in TBC Classic.

Once you invest your gold in the right items and decide on a class you are going to main, you are all set for a smooth transition into the upcoming expansion. You can also save all the time you are going to be spending on grinding if otherwise and you should be rich enough to just chill and enjoy the game at least for some time. If you are new to the game and want to try out the TBC Classic on its release, worry not; Blizzard will be putting up XP boosts to level up faster for a small price.
